Earthquake turns out to be an exploding meteorite
I’ve been checking out the (minor) earthquakes in the region (Central Europe) for the past few days and came across this dated article. This news story is dated April 10, 2009 (2 years ago). I include it here because of the way people described this event, pretty wild…
Hundreds of Carinthians were left terrified thinking they had been hit by an earthquake after a meteorite exploded over their homes early yesterday (Thurs).
Locals said the meteorite exploded at about 3am with what sounded like an enormous thunder clap followed by rumbling and howling.
